Moss House: Moss House is a new, immersive art space in downtown Minneapolis with multiple themed rooms for exploration and Instagram-ready photo ops. It's the creation of Twin Cities fabricator and designs studio, Studios Moss, known for their custom art installations and experiential design at events around the Twin Cities. Waconia Farmers + Flea Market: The beloved Excelsior Flea Market has found a new home as the Waconia Farmers + Flea Market, bringing fresh energy to downtown Waconia every Thursday this summer through 9/25. The outdoor market features over 30 rotating vendors offering everything from produce, baked goods and flowers to antiques, art and upcycled fashion. Northeast Farmers Market Night Market: Get a mid-week dose of farmers market goodness with the Northeast Farmers Market Night Market. Turquoise Vintage Moving Sale: After 12 years at its location in the Longfellow neighborhood colloquially known as the Minnehaha Mile for its mile-long stretch of vintage shops, Turquoise Vintage has announced it will be closing at the end of this October. The store has been known for its large collection of vintage Pyrex (even hosting an annual Pyrex swap every September), and also sells furniture, clothing records and more. Owner Toni Johnson says in an Instagram post that she’s closing due to rent increases, and bought a building in Montevideo for a new store. Parc's Bday: North Loop shop Parc celebrates its 17th birthday (!) with an in-store party. Mill City Farmers Market: Amidst the Twin Cities’ plethora of farmers markets, Mill City Farmers Market stands out for its idyllic location at the Mill City Museum and its emphasis on building a local, sustainable and organic food economy. A mainstay since 2006, the market is outdoors for the season, popping up weekly with a curated, diverse group of over 50 local farmers, food makers and handcrafted artisans hailing from across the state. NE Farmers Market: The weekly NE Farmers Market is back outdoors for the season. Fabrika Art Festival: The first-ever Fabrika Art Festival is a full day of creativity, community and self-expression from nonprofit Art Shelf and arts collective, NMDZ. It will feature upcycled and vintage fashion, interactive art workshops, live bands, open mic performances, local vendors and food trucks for a day dedicated to creating, connecting and artistic exchange. American Craft Fest St. Paul: After discontinuing its longstanding American Craft Show in St. Paul, the MN-based American Craft Council introduced the American Craft Fest last year as a as a revitalized concept aimed at fostering community engagement and supporting emerging artists. Shop handmade creations from over 50 emerging artists and participate in workshops led by local arts partners like the American Swedish Institute and Textile Center, plus enjoy local food and drinks. Markets on Main: A fresh addition to Minneapolis' weekend scene, Markets on Main debuts this summer as an open-air Sunday market featuring local farmers, florists, makers and vintage vendors organized by Juniper Lou Markets.
